Spring 2010 CHEF Grant deadline: April 9, 2010
Dear Faculty, Parents and other members of the Croton-Harmon School District community:I am writing to invite you to apply for a grant in our upcoming allocations cycle. CHEF’s awards have been designed to provide you with an opportunity to expand the creative and innovative approaches we use to educate our children. Two types of proposals are eligible to receive funding from the Foundation:Program Enhancement & Innovation Award
This award is designed for a special project or piece of equipment not covered by the school budget. These awards are meant to encourage innovation by introducing a new program or enhancing an existing program.
School or District-wide Grants
This grant is designed for strategic projects in which the benefits will be more far-reaching than the Program Enhancement & Innovation Awards. We expect that School or District-wide Grants will help large numbers of students in one or more schools.
All applications must be submitted using the form found on our website, www.crotonfoundation.org.
Please be sure to answer all questions. If more space is required, please feel free to attach additional sheets.
Applications may be sent either electronically to the CHEF Allocations Committee co-chairs at either email listed below or via mail to CHEF, P.O. Box 172, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.
