About Us

Community Funding for Student Innovation and Creativity

The Croton-Harmon Education Foundation (CHEF) is a not-for-profit foundation established in 2000 to seed innovative and creative projects throughout the Croton-Harmon School District.

Our Grants
We invite administrators, teachers, and community members to submit grant applications to benefit any of the three Croton schools. We review the applications and fund those that best support our mission and the district’s educational goals.

Our Accomplishments So Far
CHEF projects are currently benefiting students at every age level, from kindergarten through high school, and include academic programs, arts initiatives, and technology innovations that meet a wide variety of student needs and interests. How You Can Get Involved
Community funding takes community involvement! We invite you to attend an event, volunteer your time and expertise, or simply make a donation.

We are extremely grateful for the support we receive from the Croton community year after year, and we look forward to working together in the coming decade to promote innovation and excellence in the Croton Schools.
